Baton Rouge Industrial Group (BRIG) is a member of Gulf Coast Industrial Group (GCIG), serving to integrate diversified industrial services to the Mississippi River petrochemical industry and beyond from a network of 600 member companies of GCIG with other chapters in Lake Charles, Port Arthur, Houston, and Corpus Christi. Spoken communication to members in attendance is where information begins. Interaction during and after the meeting completes the information available. The Gulf Coast wide network is constantly bringing information together for the benefit of members.

Sharing of information at monthly, hour long meetings, discussing upcoming industrial projects and maintenance opportunities from speakers with lots of members taking notes on items of interest. Networking brings together members who have or can work together to deliver better results for the project. Upcoming industry events are shared with the group as a regular segment. We start every meeting with a prayer and the pledge. We begin at 9 am and finish at 10 am, with networking happening before and after the meeting.

We recommend sending an email to billie@macongraves.com. Then, you will be sent a blank invoice, a membership application and a W9 if needed. We encourage a visit to check out the meetings as our guest. depending on the venue space, some meetings may only be limited to our current members.

Members in good standing who have paid the annual dues of $200 and are the first group invited to BRIG events. They are also always invited to monthly meetings and networking time. Members are offered the breakfast sponsorship opportunity that includes a chance to introduce yourself and company in front of the group.
